Est. 1982 Serving PNG

Papua New Guinea's Trusted Water Authority

Water PNG Limited was established under the National Water Supply and Sewerage Act of 1982 and has grown to become Papua New Guinea's primary water and sanitation authority — serving communities from Port Moresby to Kainantu, Kimbe to Lae.

From our origins as the National Water Supply and Sewerage Board in 1987, through our rebranding as Water PNG in 2010, to corporatisation as Water PNG Limited in 2017 — we now operate across 23 service centres nationwide. Our work spans water treatment, distribution networks, sewerage management, customer services, and major infrastructure investment partnerships with the World Bank and Asian Development Bank.
